It's been raining a lot where we live. We can't go fishing, we're not into shopping, the bars around here suck, and even reading Playboy starts to pall after a while, so we've had little choice but to fire up the old laptop and chat with nude girls online. Not that we're complaining, or anything; why not entertain ourselves in our very favorite way? But we decided to add a new twist to our recent viewing by hunting up brand new sites to have a look at, and you know what? We found lots of them. Happy happy, joy joy! Today we're going to look at one of the most intriguing, CamChatter.
CamChatter presents itself well -- at first. There's some pretty raunchy stuff posted on the home-page, slotted into a variety of categories, and from the looks of things many of these girls are broadcasting straight from their homes. You can see a lot more than just skin here too -- there's actual sex (with men, girls, and various other objects) promised lavishly in the accompanying thumbnail pics. Check it out for yourself. We're showing you the entry page for the Softcore Underwear/Bikini category, since it's about the only one that we can show without having to censor everything.
Looks like a lot of fun, right? Alas, if only it were true. Here's the reality of the situation: CamChatter lures you in under false pretenses. Despite what they offer up, the only thing you'll get if you pay to play is a few free movies. Oh, you can access those comely homegirls all right -- but as far as we could tell, only by links that take you to the actual sites, like iFrends, where the girls are performing. Then you have to pay again to the real site so you can have fun. So apparently this is just a cam site portal in disguise.
It gets worse, though. Think of all the worst porn and MP3 websites you've ever gone to. Remember how they don't want to leave? You try, and up comes pop-up after pop-up for other sites they want you to see. Notice that we wrote "they" -- the sites they force on you are not necessarily the kind of sites you would want to see. They're low-quality and nasty, and not always in a good way. In our case, not a single one was for an adult chat site, which is why we're here in the first place. What we're wondering is, who are the cretins who fall for these pop-ups? There must be a few, or it wouldn't profit any site to whore themselves out this way. In our opinion, this is dangerously close to browser hijacking, which pisses us off no end, and in fact when we tried to use one of the pop-ups to navigate elsewhere, we were just drug off on a fun-filled ride to another of the stupid things. Why is this not illegal yet?
Bottom line: if you love chatting with beautiful, at-home cam-girls, this is where you need to stop reading and go check out a decent homegirl site like LiveJasmin or Peekshows instead. Hell, even 247Live and 2Lips are better, and they don't even have any homegirls performing (and precious little else for that matter).
If, on the other hand, you have a masochistic streak, then by all means throw your money away at CamChatter. We'll even help you by telling you how to do it. See, all you have to do is pay $39.67 on your credit card or checking account, or $24.99 on your telephone bill for a month of "service." Why it's cheaper by phone, we have no idea. Oh, and you can pay for a three-day pass for $2.97. Not so bad, high? Wait until it rebills automatically at the end of the three days, and you get hit with $48.73 per month. Why is it higher than the normal rate? Who knows? Probably because they can get away with it. Anyhow, this just keeps going on and on until you cancel, which is a pain-in-the-ass process, let us tell you.
To sum up our feelings about CamChatter: this site can go to Hell. IT IS A RIP OFF. Avoid it like the plague.
Let's just hope the other new sites are better, shall we?
